Abijo GRA is located along lekki epe expressway. There is a well finished Police post which was build by Fashola administration and commission by the same administration in 2010. But up till this moment the police post as not start operation, the place as turn out to be a criminal hide out since the government refuse to make the place functional.
Effort have been made by the communities within the axis to contact the relevant authority in making the place function. But it as not yielded any positive impact.
The leadership of Palms bay estate labora owode community had approach the commissioner of police In 2014 for making the station operative. The then commissioner of police send the O C work of lagos and one deputy commissioner of police to inspect the place and give the report of what was needed to make the place functional, but till today, nothing is yet to bee seen or heard.
We are appealing to the current lagos state governor and Lagos commissioner of police to help the community leaving within the axis make the police post functional.
So many criminal activities have been reported taken place within the Abijo GRA abandon police post.
The community just put it upon them self in cutting off the bushes that has cover up the hole premises.

Nice effort in trying to get the authorities to do the right thing.

I can imagine the amount of money that would have been quoted as cost of that project
