Reason this was repainted could be cloning of C number, mayB the one available at the time was black ,cos repainting and exporting your car from the west is nearly impossible. You cant just change your car colour, there are loads of huddles to go fru and that's even for fully functional vehicle

Oh These changes are almost never made in the West.

They are done right there in Apapa and a lot of other bodyshops in and around Kirikiri and other parts of Lagos. As soon as the vehicles get off the ships/out the container/ro-ro they get sent there straightaway.

Would be insanely expensive to even fix any of these accidented vehicles in the US, for instance.

The way to be certain is for the seller to provide the stamped VIN and we'd see if there's a match.
