I love to work with GE but all i get from them is regret mail, right now i'm curious about GE recruitment process and how their HR officers do shortlist applicants who meet their requirements for test and interview. Do we have anybody who applied and was invited? (not via referral) or anybody who understands how the process works and what Nigeria graduates need to do to get an invite from them. Thanks in anticipation of your responses.

that's it, I've applied for 3 different positions but all I got is regret mail. They should tell us their standard or they should stop advertising their job openings.

GE entry level recruitment are pure scams, I applied for 5 different positions years back when I was a fresh grad, never got invited for aptitude tests or interviews. There's an old thread about their deception on nairaland, they just do those entry level job adverts for formality, fresh graduate recruitment is based on internal connections. I know a lady who was a year ahead of me in uni who got employed with them straight after service cos she interned and served with them.

why are they giving themselves the stress of advertising a position already taken? I think the government should look more into recruitment processes of Nigeria coys. I love GE not cause of their packages but the career development they offer.. it's well

I've been invited by GE for aptitude test back in the days of my job hunting, I think 2011 if I recollect vividly and the venue was at Eko hotel. 90% of the questions set were Mechanical engineering oriented while I had an elect/elect background. I never made it to the next stage after the aptitude test.

I don't think their adverts are for formality sake, my belief is each year the stakes are set higher than the previous year. More graduates are getting all those certifications and applying for same job. You will have to stand apart from the thousands that are applying, else you'll get a regret mail at every trial.

GE is based on network and referral....just like most companies referral comes first. If you are not a graduate of the ivy^top notch, you might need a referral. I have been invited for their aptitude test.

I have a friend who was invited by GE without knowing anybody, it is due to the quality of the candidates who apply - my friend finished from a top nigerian federal with top grades and a history of excellence, got called and scaled all processes
