Considering the alarming rate of speed related crashes as well as the security challenges in the country today, it is advised that private and public enterprises install the Speed Limit Device on their daily and utility vehicles to ensure safety of lives and these vehicles. Speed limit devices are extremely beneficial to you, your family and your business.

(a) SPEED LIMIT CONTROL:

According to Federal Road Safety Commission’s road crash report in 2013, 6450 Nigerians lost their lives on our roads in 2013, which includes 4552 men, 1398 women, 299 boys and 201 girls. More data from the report shows that between 2009 and 2013, 30435 people were killed in road accidents in Nigeria. The number of these unfortunate casualties is about the size of a European city (e.g. Gyula, Hungary). Also, 28480 men, 9198 women, 1520 boys and 859 girls, a total of 40057 people were injured in road accidents in 2013. While this rate has drastically dropped to about 25% in 2016, it can still be reduced to its barest minimum, especially in these festive ember months.

It is on the premise of these findings that the Federal Road Safety Commission initiated the Speed Limit Control System and licensed OUR COMPANY as one of the dealers authorized to install this device particularly in:

• Federal & State Owned Commercial Vehicles

• Federal & State Owned Official Vehicles

• Local Govt. Owned Commercial Vehicles

• Local Govt. Owned Official Vehicles

• Private Commercial Vehicles Domicile in the state

Please be informed that this mandatory installation of speed limit control on all commercial vehicles as published in Punch Newspaper (December 22, 2015 page 35) and in the Daily Sun (December 21, 2015,page 29), has commenced since February 1, 2017.

IMPORTANCE OF THE SPEED LIMIT DEVICE
• Speed Limiters were first introduced in Europe on Commercial and Heavy Duty Vehicles, due to prevalence of speeding fines;
• Speed Limiters work with the Road Principle: Prevention is the best cure!;
• Speed Limiters control speed despite drivers’ urge for speeding;
• Works with 2 available engine systems: Mechanically and Electronically Controlled Engines (whether injection or carburetor fuel systems);
• Increases safety of the vehicle, owner, goods carried, people on the road;
• Improves fuel efficiency.

Our devices have a super admin pass word that cannot be tampered with. Our Engineers and installers use default passwords during installation and calibration, but 30 minutes after installation and calibration by our Engineers with default password, they no longer have access to the password. It can only be generated via our online database, if there is a cogent need for it. Therefore our devices are totally secured.
