English language is made and meant to be spoken correctly. But we often don't remember that. For instance, we commonly say 'My head is 'paining' me'. You need no Primary 4 English Teacher from Kaduna to tell you Pain has not 'ing'. Why not say, 'My head hurts me;' or 'My head is hurting me'. -Debut [b][/b][color=#000099][/color] |
