The Ghanian asked me that, why is the yorubas not liked in Nigeria? because, he did hear many negative things about the tribe. Why is that so? and that he hasnt even seen serious opposing views from the Yorubas, and was thinking, probably, the accusation was true? Please note that the said Ghana lives in the UK. I felt so bad, that such perception have gone even out of the nation.

Igbo women have the right to refuse Yoruba men's advances. So thats not an execuse. On the contrary, the probability of Yoruba women accepting advances from Igbo men is far slimmer, and hence the discouragement on the part of igbo men to even try them in the first instance.

Don't misquote me. Igbos are great and industrious people and have close friends, and we do exchange banters. But keeping silent sometimes indicate agreement, in which contrary is the case mostimes.

NB: I may not comment on this issue again as I don't normally do this. Just thought someone, who is neutral, like the Ghanian young man, would read this someday, and know the truth.
