HiddenShadow: Your future and destiny remain in your hands, not PMB. Other states and regions have realized this, but not the empty and shallow chest beaters who can not do anything for themselves. Other states from Edo to Calabar are going ahead with their own state seaports and many are even building their own airports, but as usual, the SE and their lazy sidon look and useless governors are still sitting and waiting for the FG to build airport for them to build seaport for them even though they don't have any sea. Victim mentality kills the human spirit to explore and prosper so the feeling that other people owe you and must do for you because you are victims mentally rendered you paralyzed and incapacitated to do anything for yourself. That region must be cursed because even the youths are afflicted with the same lazy mentality and victim syndrome. |

We keep hearing IBAKA DEEP Sea port and now it's CALABAR DEEP SEA PORT ,and yet them never dig "ordinary well", even they managed digging it , Lagos people would use politics to strangle it to death so as to maintain Lagos economic advantage ![]() |

Chukazu: This victim mentality is disgusting. Lagos has nothing to do with either. They simple haven't progressed to next steps because they either dont have money or finalised plans. Look at Akwa Ibom they are yet to update us on status of port. If you email the like i did they dont say anything of interest. 1 Like |

Blue3k: And thank God for your "Victor mentality" If those ones have not progressed what of the ones already in existence, the one at Onne and Warri; has Lagos allowed and politics allowed them to fully maximize potentials? When you are an outsider it's hard to see within |

Chukazu: They didnt stop that one either. The depth of all the ports are relatively the sane same size. Next ships are allowed to utilize ports as the see fit. Most of the eastern ports are export oriented. Outsiders see issues better better their not bothered with bias. 1 Like |

Chukazu: Ok that only helps my point. Nobody ks stopping anyone from going anywhere. Shippers know where their market is. Ive done research and shown stats on it in my other threads. 1 Like |

Blue3k: It's not just about shippers knowing where the market is ,is also about a "screwed up and inequitable system" |
Re: Cross River, Chinese Firm Sign Mou On Calabar Deep Seaport by Blue3k(m): 4:03pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
Chukazu: Yeah yeah inequitable system of what. Are we still talk about port and lagos supposedly holding other ports down. Reference a law that stops shippers since its not depth sizes. Ive already established the new ports are being held back. I posted a story about Bayelsa deep seaport news the other day. 1 Like |

Blue3k: And sometimes we don't see the disadvantages of it,which is that Lagos will continue to grow at an astronomical pace while the rest of Nigeria keeps wallowing in Poverty. We have a lopsided system entrenched from British system of governance... notice that LONDON grows at the expense of other UK cities, having about 60% of the GDP, now compare that to FRANCE where other Cities are almost on equal footings with PARIS it can only take a concerted effort from government to have an all inclusive ,all encompassing development ,if not we keep having an uncontrollable rural urban drift stretching infrastructures in Lagos beyond limit |
