The irony is that though they always sing of love and women, Nigerian men mostly don't think of love, they need their mulla! Who cares for the love any more, very few men and women.

Then they sing of love. Everything translates to sex in our heads mostly. Nobody cares to hear words of reason. In fact it is those that talk sense that are seen as stupid.

All of you that are complaining, how many dope Nigerian singers/ rappers do you know or support? Folks don't practise what they preach anymore. Do you know Our own Blaqbones, a rapper that launched his career on Nairaland here? Do you know rappers like Boogey, Eclipse, Luluraps, AQ, Mojeed, Santi, e.t.c? To you know singers like Aramide, Sir Dauda, Johnny Drille, Tomi Thomas, Tay Aiwar, Nonso Amadi, Odunsi, Ric Hassani, Morell, Funbi, Aduke, and several other dope underground artistes? No! They remain underground because you lots don't appreciate nor hype good music. Y'all prefer pangolo music. Stop complaining. We the few little know these good musicians and appreciate them. Follow them on social media to encourage them. You are what you listen to. Music is a taste. Going through your playlist can give a slight insight into your personality.

By the way, I'm a music producer and a singer. I learnt everything all by myself. You can do it too. Visit my blog in my signature below for tutorials to get you started. I'll be dropping a new philosophical song on here before the week runs out, hope you'll support good music then.

Sometimes I just get so ashamed and provoked seeing my fellow women danced Unclad because of money. Some of them even dance Unclad for their son's agemates.
Nigeria music has gone sour.

I mean when last did you hear songs of other genres like politics, conflict, everyday events, disasters, poverty etc. Ever since the war on boko haram started, have you ever heard a song condemning the sect or a song to give hope to those displaced and affected?

The Americans are even trying with the likes of Rihanna's "American oxygen" and many more. All we hear in today Nigeria is going crazy about big ass, meaningless love, money and women. I just watched lil kesh' "rora" video and I must confess that the music industry is in deep rot.
That is what you get when a vast majority of youths in Nigeria have IQs below 80. To put this into pespective, few are Borderline
Deficiency with IQ of 70-80; many are Morons with
IQ 50-69; a good number are Imbeciles with IQ 20-49 and most are Idiots with IQ below 20.

Unfortunately, this trend will continue until excellence is promoted over mediocrity in all areas of our lives.

Not all these new sets of foreign rapper that sings about drugs, money and sex. If you talk about old rappers, those ones are better.

My dear, foreign rappers are thesame...

It's either guns, drugs, sex, bitches, cults, money etc.

It's once in a while that they pass the right message... same goes for Nigerian artistes...

even the Kendrick Lamar & J Cole have songs that are talking bout guns, sex & drugs... I'm a fan of both...
Which Jcole song talk about guns sex and drugs ?

Who still listen to Rap, Hip Hop or R & B? These days I find quality music in Metal or Rock music. And I don't listen to Naija songs, I've always been drawn to the foreign albums.

Which Jcole song talk about guns sex and drugs ?

He talks mostly about sex...

Listen to "Can't get enough" where he featured Trey Songz... just first verse, talked about how a certain ladies ass can make a gay nigga reconsider... also talked about how he almost missed his flight when the hoe was sucking his nuts... and talked about some other nasty things...

Also listen to "wet dreamz"

there are still songs where he talked about sex & hoes...

That reminds me of a particular year, something 2010 or so I was traveling home and we were watching this DVDs and somebody said and I quote 'I prefer Ghana movies to Nollywood because they show the real stuff', not long after that all the Nollywood movies took a different turn.

Music is same, everyone wants to see the Unclad girls, boobs!

Good I know you would mention wet dreams, that's a classic true story, first time sex song of youthful exuberance? Compare his words and delivery to others even in Can't get enough. His whole portfolio is about real music. Checked out his last 2 albums? You have to know this is rap too anyway except u want gospel
