SENSITIZATION OF BAYELSA STATE GRADUATES OF ENGINEERING AND GEOSCIENCES FOR THE 2018 SPDC NIGER DELTA POST-GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
The objective of this programme is to sensitize and prepare eligible Bayelsa State graduates of Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Geosciences, Petroleum Geophysics, Chemical/Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Exploration Geophysics and Electronic/Electrical Engineering for the 2018 SPDC Niger Delta Post-Graduate Scholarship.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidate must:
 Display intellectual ability and leadership potential

 Be between 21-28 years by September 30, 2018

 Be an indigene of Bayelsa State and provide documentary evidence thereof and currently reside in Nigeria

 Have obtained a degree or at least equivalent standard to a UK Upper Second Class (Honours Degree)

 Be neither a current nor former employee (who has left employment less than 5 years before) of SPDC or the Royal Dutch Shell Group of Companies or current employee's relatives

 Not previously have studied in the UK or other developed country.

 Have confirmed or in the process of applying for admission into any of the Universities and the specified courses below:


1. Imperial College London:

 Petroleum Engineering
 Petroleum Geosciences
 Petroleum Geophysics

2. University College London:
 Chemical / Process Engineering
 Mechanical Engineering (Rotating Equipment or Metallurgy)
 Civil Engineering (Geo technics)
3. University of Leeds:
 Exploration Geophysics
 Electronic/Electrical Engineering
