Maybe because the Slave Trade thing is a self inflicted problem.
I am in my house in Lagos. No one can take me a slave.
Who sent those people to go to Europe by land?

That's man's inhumanity to man. It is a fact that most of the people that were taken away during the slave trade were not "stolen" or forced, they were sold by their parents and community leaders. Now see what's happening here and yet no adequate publicity.

If it was that fake Chibok girls story that were kidnapped by the politicians they would have carried placards as if they care about us.

Why would they care about you when as you said it is Africans selling their kinsmen into slavery, again?

You can't help stupid people.

You can't help people who have no regard for their own welfare or environment.

the truth is the western world dont give a shit about what goes on in africa and that is because african leaders are damm stupid .
what do we expect donald trump or any western nation to say about what is going on in libya when even african heads of state are rushing to to be the first to send sympathy messages to western nations when they have problems but have kept silent about the happenings in libya
if africa cant help themselves ,then they should stop looking to the western nations to speak for them and help them.
buhari has kept silent on the issue of nigeria 26 girls who died on the sea, he was very quick to issue a condemnation statement on the attack that took place in eygpt but has turned the blind eyes to the hundreds of Nigerians been sold as slaves in libya DESPITE NUMEROUS VERIFIABLE DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE same thing goes for other African leaders .
The AU has kept silent
ECOWAS too has kept silent
and yet we want france ,uk and usa to wade in when the real problem is with our own neighbors !!!!

WTF? I'm surprised that other races still treat blacks with respect, the kind of shame and mud we are swimming in is enough to make others treat us with derison. Shame on our leaders, the embarrasment going on in Libya is enough to cause a diplomatic row between Nigeria & them but we are here watching helplessly and waiting for America & EU to come and solve our problem for us. SHAME ON US!!!
Do you have a president? If your country is run by sane and qualified people, Libya will be shitting her pantys now. But reverse is the case. Even in Nigeria, your armed forces use you as target practice. Nigeria needs God's intervention. What a country angry

You have a bunch of stupid people that use their own money to enter problem. In the name of going to Europe, they pass through Libya and that is where they get caught and used as slaves.

This should be an embarrassment to almost all African celebrities..... always jumping on the American trending band wagon and having a whole lot to say ...but remain silent...dead silent on issues at home or close to home.... Black Americans celebrities speak out about issues affecting them.... they have the influence and they use it. Not one bit surprised by Chris Brown ...it's normal stuff for these guys...they speak out.
