UKAPISUA : HOW TO JOIN A BAND

As part of activities marking the end of year Christmas festival tagged Ukapisua, the Akwa Ibom State ministry of Culture and tourism will on 26th December host a street party/Carnival tagged “Street Groove”. The event will see five bands traversing and partying along the streets of Uyo.

*Rolling hills band,

*The beach town band,



*The bridge crew band



*The Plaza band



The bands are named after tourist attractions and historical features in Akwa Ibom state. The bands will further expound on the significance of their respective tourism features in their costumes, presentation and parade, thereby helping to market the tourist potentials of the state.



Each Band will be lead by a top naija or African music artist ranging from 2face, Teckno and others thou unconfirmed now.



The general public is encouraged to be part of the bands by registering online at www.ukapisua.com or by picking up offline registration forms at all tetiary institutions in the state, local government headquarters, as well as designated eateries.
