MAD Movement launches in Akwa Ibom 1st December

Make a Difference{MAD} Movement is to propagate the ideology of productivity, innovation and pointing out the avalanche opportunities available to the young people in Akwa Ibom.
The MAD movement would raise visionary leaders in various spheres of life through empowerment, enlightenment and mentorship.



The Cordinator of MAD Movement Ms. Kufre Nicholas in a Press Release said “We have seen and witnessed several vices and ills in the society, we have seen promising ideas go down the drain, we have seen young people slowly slip into depression because of unfulfilled dreams.


If we do not do something about it, it will keep getting worse and if we do not act now, there would never be the right time. Even if it is only one person that will be influenced by the movement, it will still make the difference.”

She however requested for support to make the movement a reality

“Resources are required to enhance the publicity and awareness of the movement. However, with the much we can afford, we will start. We hope for more resources for us to come out grand, to enable us have a wider reach.”







MAD Movement is expected to begin on the 1st of December, 2017 by meeting students, group by group, class by class, hostel by hostel, and talking to them and influencing the most they can in University of Uyo.

The statement also request spirited individuals to join
