So much talk about Pastorpreneurs and the need to curb their excesses, I decided to write a poem on this. ................... Nothing short of pick pockets Proding and taunting every penny from your pocket Make haste or be short of glory Tilt your pocket out or be short of heaven Raging words, enslaving snare Waging breaths, infuriating stench And there we are seated on benches Come tithe your wages, rippling offerings in cascading tents I am your pastor, your sole conduit to heaven Seek thy father or be doomed and cast farther Freeze said it using biblically lingering words Toned with biblically bickering threats Free the sheeples or like moses said " free my people". 1 Like |

hypergig: don't take this the wrong way but, poetry is a lot more than jambling rhymes together... and those rhymes aren't even properly rhymed. 1 Like |

ttime: its meant to be recited, the end rhymes helps if its a recital.. Not all my poems are rhymes laced.. |
