Nigeria Football Federation president, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi has stated that the presence of Super Eagles manager, Lars Lagerback would be enough motivation for home based Eagles to defeat Niger Republic in the return leg of the African Nations Championship qualifier in Kano on Sunday.

Lulu said in a chat with brilafm.net that the boys have been motivated to qualify and submitted that their 2-0 first leg loss was understandable, due to circumstances that surrounded the match in Niamey.

“Certainly, at this point, two goals down gives us cause for concern and we cannot deny that we are worried. However, we are giving the boys maxi9mum support to win this weekend.

“We expect them to go all out and win with a comprehensive margin that would be enough to see us qualify for the championship.

“We doing everything to ensure that the boys remain in high spirits, particularly as the Super Eagles coach will be coming round to watch the match.

“I believe the boys will give their best,” Lulu enthused.

Hopefully, they will do us proud tomorrow.
