The world cup 2018 group draw took place today in Moscow.Nigeria were as usual placed in the same group with Argentina as they were also in the same group back in 2014.

Alongside Argentina team who were in the same group with Nigeria are Croatia and Iceland.

Don’t forget that Nigeria played a pre world cup friendly with Argentina last month and they came back to win the match after initially on a two goal down in which Kelechi Iheanacho reduced the tally before the end of the first fourty five minutes from a well placed free kick.Nigeria won the match which ended 4-2 with goals from Iwobi and Idowu.
