I thought Manchester Utd would win the game yesterday I'm miffed with the loss against Bayern Munich. Though I'm a Chelsea fan, I respect the coaching and Managerial abilities of Sir Alex Ferguson. The second leg at Old Trafford will be a tough game. I just hope the Mancunians can contain Bayern's assault in their bid to progress in the tournament. I'm also thinking about the Arsenal-Barcelona game. God help the Gunners. Hmn.

Manure were despicable last night. I can't complain. Park/carrick were useless. IMO, Evra was the best player on the pitch - until his blunder at the last minute - moreso after his blunder

Bayern deserved something out of it - they were playing with makeshift players, and missing a couple of their key players - yet the took the game to united and pretty much outplayed them in most of the stats - possession, attack, corners etc etc.

Thank God for that sweet ref sef - enough yellow cards for manure players.
It was actually really good to see manure on the receiving end for a bit - deflected goals, last minute goals, refs not in fergie's pockets etc etc.

2nd game would be interesting. No rooney (out for a month), and robben will be back to terrorize the defense. Yes, its at OT, but idk if bayern has lost there.

I really dont know who can step up for manure next game, or on sat. Berbaflop? Oh!wen? Giggs? Falback? Macheda?
Will be very interesting. So sad and yet happy that rooney might miss arguably the 2 most important games this year - against chelsea and bayern.
