At about 1:45am On Monday(4th December 2017) Corp members caught a young man who disguised as a corper to rob them of their valuables. It was an almost successful mission for him, as he has already taken phones and cash of some of the Corp members in the boys Hostel before he was caught after a vigilant Corp member raised alarm.


He was beaten by the angry corpers, who sang while beating him, before handing him over to the soldiers.

This is the second time the camp is robbed. The first robbery occurred in the early hours of last Mondays(27th November), at the Godswill Akpabio Hostel, accommodating female Corp members. It was successful, as almost 20 Android phones and cash was carted away with by the hoodlums, while the female corpers slept.

It serves him right. With the severe beating he got from the corp members and possible torture he will face from the soldiers, i am sure he will think twice before stealing again.
