8,000 Police officers, 3,000 Military & Paramilitary personals and yet we couldn't contain the massive crowd that came to see President Buhari. As his motorcade pass thru, the noise is deafening but yet you can see the commitment and sincerity of hope from his supporters.

On either side, people scream, wave and take pictures. As he slowed down to savour the moment, the crowd went wild for the 90 seconds and then a rapturous applause. Then, as soon as the limo was gone, they clearly got what they came for: a glimpse of President Buhari.

President Buhari isn't just a political leader to people of Kano, he is a paternal figure, The Mai Gaskiya. These intimate designations speak to the close bond many Kanawas have traditionally forged with President Buhari. Perhaps the only national political leader to approach Buhari moment of naked popularity was a politician who knew something about Integrity. His name was Mallam Aminu Kano.

So, Buhari is expecting about 2.5 million votes from Kano alone in 2019. Therefore, Atikuchukwu's strategists should strategize well so that they won't commit suicide when they see election results.
