A final student of the department of Microbiology, Dominic Kubiat was shot dead tuesday by unknown gunmen, few minutes after the Manchester United match.

The deceased was reportedly dispossessed of his mobile phone and valuables by his assailants at Ikpa Lane; and was thereafter shot in his right lap.

Late Dominic was said to have escaped with the gunshot wounds to his house. He was rushed to hospital, where he was confirmed dead, presumably due to massive loss of blood.
