I thought this tithing controversy has been laid to rest. These are the questions I will keep on asking Pastors that insist on "tithe" collection.

According to the Scriptures;

1) Tithe is 10% of what exactly? Gold & Silver or Crops and Livestock
2) The discussion Jesus had with the Pharisees in Matthew 23, are the Pastors aware that the Law was not fulfilled and animal sacrifices were
ongoing at that point in time? Even Jesus still had respect for the Law by telling healed Lepers to visit the Priests for cleansing in line with the
requirements spelt out in the Law of Moses...and this was because the Law was not yet fulfilled by the death of Jesus.
3) If God is going to judge the world in line with Matthew 25 v 31-46, would "tithing" be one of the things that would be considered? or is
"tithing" a trivial issue that carries no weight at all?


These among many other questions I need answers to...before we can establish whether there is any scriptural backing for Christians to pay "tithe"
