In 1900, Paris got her first subway (underground) train few years after one was constructed in New York, US. Today, my beloved country is yet to dream of building one. Maybe, we will get leaders to dream it by 2030 and another set of leaders to fulfil it by 2080. What am saying in essence is, Nigeria (Africa) lacks leaders with visions. We lack inventors amongst our leaders. Our leaders don't think out of the box, or maybe they do but selfishness and insecurity is their problem.

In a country of more than 170 million people with the number growing daily. I think we no longer need politicians promising us free education, good roads or an end to the epidemic in our power system. What we need is visionaries.

-If you're going to lead us, do not restrict your mission within a 4yrs tenure. Be futuristic
-If you're to end a problem, propose a plan. Let's evaluate.

It is high time Africa move ahead. Yes! We desire for development. We should stop being failures.

From a pained black man.
