Nigerians are still nursing mixed feelings since Tuesday following what would have been an embarrassing outing from the world cup due to fielding an ineligible player in their final World Cup Qualifier against Algeria.
Naturally, the Technical committee of the NFF IS TO BE BLAME FOR THIS This careless mistake.
In my opinion however, the player should share in the blame. He is definitely aware he wasn't eligible for that game. So why not point it out even though the technical committee ignorantly included his name for the game.

Shehu Abdullahi(born 12 March 1993) is a Nigerian football midfielder, who plays for Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta. [4]

In July 2014, Abdullahi moved from Kano Pillarsto Kuwaiti Premier Leagueside Qadsia SCin a deal worth $480,000, of which Abdullahi received $330,000 and Kano Pillars $150,000. [5]

International career[ edit]
