The amiable Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike celebrated his birthday yesterday and friends, family and political colleagues graced the occasion to make it very colorful. The event was hosted in Rivers State capital. PortHarcourt.

Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike was born on 13 December 1967 and he is a Nigerian politician and lawyer who is the sixth and current Governor of Rivers State. He is an Ikwerre from Rumuepirikom in Obio-Akpor, Rivers State. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party and was educated at Rivers State University of Science and Technology .

Those who graced the occasion includes Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, Senator Godswill Akpabio, The newly elected National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus and host of other celebrate with him.

Shout out to all December celebrants... Wishing you all and my humble self,long life and prosperity....

I was there live in that hall. When Fayose entered, there was this aura of irritation and bitterness. Inviting a yor*ba man was bad. Inviting fayose was even worse. Things got out of hand when he almost fought one of the waitress for offering him coleslaw and fried rice instead of Amala and ewedu soup. We managed to subdue the situation and restore calm and decorum. It wasn't easy at all.
