A group of 50 000 people can put together money like N2000 each which will amount to N100 million, build a shopping center that will create more than 5000 jobs.. In a developing area were there are no shopping malls but high population and demand. Also there could be more opportunities for building affordable flats for the workers that would be working in a mall..
There's a lot more we can do for our communities if we can put the little money we have together. We can bring change and eradicate poverty in our neighbourhood's since the government is not looking into these kind of projects to help better lives.

Whats your take on this This.

No we cannot

What we need is restructuring so that we can make laws specific to a certain socio-cultural area in line with how they live their lives

Take for instance you even manage to get the 100m, someone would stand up and say you should drop something, you say no and next day you see notice of Stop Work, then they quote some useless land use act, prohibition and some other laws.

Or, you set up a committee for the building project, before you know, 10m has gone under over estimated projects.

Your plan cannot work in present day Nigeria

is there any country in the world you don't drop something? it's called cost of doing business. so instead of employing 5000 with 100 million you prefer no employment cos somebody asked for 1 million 'tax'? you be genius o

yet companies on stock exchange work.

it is truly a privilege to watch your mind at work
