PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, recycle your used car batteries in Asia - do not send them to Nigeria. Are these not classed as hazardous waste? There are thousands of other business opportunities which can be explored between Asia and Nigeria, why dead batteries? These things are contaminating the environment and the lead dust residue is poisonous, and kills children. We know that this was investigated in Senegal - This article followed several families that lost children as a reult of lead poisoning(http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28484477/). . . not to talk of the thousands of other uninvestigated cases. If you want to import something into Nigeria, import something else, NOT dead batteries. Gone are the days where we would just accept anything from anyone. There are many other things which are very lucrative in Nigeria - electronics, laptops, phones etc. We are happy to partner with you on items which are not harmful to us and our children. |

Ok, no problems.
