The odd -looking dog was brought into an animal shelter in Chelyabinsk in south-central Russia's Cheliabinsk Oblast region and has baffled locals who say they have 'never seen anything like it before'.

The stray dog, nicknamed Medvebaka from the Russian words for bear and dog, appears to have the body of a canine with a bear-like snout and head.

Veterinarians said the dog May have been crossed between long-nosed and a Chow chow.
It has a Distinctive blue tongue too
