So when you give something to a needy person, do not make a show of it as the hypocrites do in the streets and houses of worship.
3. For when you do a charitable deed do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.

I conclude that any pastor who advertises/publicizes his charity deeds to disaster struck and other needy and poor people is a hypocrite. [Unfortunately there are many of them] They only give so that others will praise them.

Money given to charity by pastors is not theirs in the first instance it is the churches money and the biblical purpose of church offerings was to do charitable works contrary to what obtains today with pastors claiming the money is primarily meant to "run" the church and making it look as if they are being magmanimous when they put church money to it's originally intend purpose which was mostly charity.
