Nigerian youths, do not let history repeat itself. I see a lot of you gleefully flying banners for old heads like 'Atiku Abubakar', cheerleading stagnancy and perpetual backwardness.
Why don't you think you deserve a political candidate whose brain functions the way your young brains work, in this digital era? Talking about speed and adaptation to modern times?
What's really new about septuagenarians who've been around, long before you wrote your Common entrance examination decades ago?
Why have so much faith in treacherous, gray-haired politicians who failed you in times past?
Men who stole so much from you and your 5th generation yet unborn, gave you woes, contributed to reducing your existence to a hand to mouth kind of living, put your future in a state of uncertainty?
How different are you from the clingy, low-spirited woman who has become accustomed to constant battering, but brightens up each time she's told "I love you" by her abuser?
Nigerian youths, why do you delight in running around this same circle of stagnancy? Who did this to us?
Why lend yourselves to obsolescence all the damn time, you clueless ones?
An old pa who can't climb a flight of stairs without pausing every 2 mins to catch his breath, is not your great future. Age aside, your 71 year old papa is no Donald Trump in terms of high IQ and reasoning ability.
Your political veteran's daily activities should be: wake up, check his bp, read national dailies, relish euphoric memories of his heydays until he dozes off on an Adirondack chair. He shouldn't be made your ruler once again, if you have your senses intact.
