Woman Barber Makes Waves In Awka South

There are some sights that are not so common in this part of the world. What would you say if you see a young lady working as a bus conductor, or palm wine tapper, or more so, a barber.

Our Correspondent, Ejike Abana came in touch with a young lady who works as a barber in Nodu, Okpuno, Awka South Local Government Area.

For many young girls, hair cutting as a business is not an option. Call it Christmas hustle or not, young Miss Ifeyinwa Ogueli, an undergraduate of History and International Relations at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, is enjoying high patronage and making significant income as a female barber.

According to Miss Ogueli who hails from Umunachi, Dunukofia Council Area, growing up in the midst of her brothers as the only girl in the family, fueled her passion for that line of business.

She, however, frowned at the attitude of some male customers who refused to allow her cut their hair assuring that she has a magic touch.

She emphasized that anybody can do any job, irrespective of gender, and asked young people, especially ladies to develop themselves by acquiring any skill they can, as it may turn out to be very useful in future.
One of her customers, Mr. John Okoyeb noted Miss Ogueli does her job professionally more than most male barbers as her hands are soft.

Men, how will you feel having a woman give you a haircut?

Some women are go-getters. If you cannot find a job, create one

If that will save Abia state then the thread should be destroyed. The condition of Abia should be a collective problem of Ndi Igbo. So i support that pictures of Abia state be exposed here for the whole world to see.

Be prepared for the new Abia thread. This is a major road in Aba and not a stream nor forest. Abia state must be rescued from this backwardness and mess because APGA is coming via Alex Otti is coming.
The guy you're attacking is a Yoruba man

No sir, the guy is the same person as Chef2000, Ezeonyembo. He has so many accounts but i have busted him on that omadeltason. He is from Abia state. Believe me. He is the same person that operates Nnewisuper. He is so scared of coming face to face with me because he knows the consequences, that's why he is using reverse approach but he has been busted as usual.

That's what he wants! It's the same mofo together with his multiple monikers that's trying to derail the pan-Igbo thread!

For some funny reason some sad people feel threatened with all these thriving Igbo-themed threads, and want them all destroyed!
