My understanding so far.

Innoson banks with GTB, accesses their facility and incurred wrong bank charges to the tune of over 700 million Naira.
After back and forth with GTB, he wins his suit to the tune of 8 billion Naira.
GTB feeling embarrassed exposes his business malpractices and fraudulent shipping documents and reports to EFCC.
EFCC being an antigraft agency summons him and he was discharged. They summon him again, this time he fails to honour the invitation. They move in on him to arrest him in his Enugu residence. He resists arrest and engages them with his own force. They call for back up, and things spiralled out of control. His wife gets slapped, he gets arrested.

That said, how did this turn to an inter-tribal witch-hunting?
It's simply a GTB VS Innoson fight. Pls let's always get our facts right and not let sentiments make a mockery of our intelligence and education.

Intelligence and education are mutually exclusive with igboes.

One single alhaji call Okanlawon that operates the NNPC mega stations in Lagos has more liquid cash in the bank than all you ibos in that bank

Its that liquid cash that your brother innonson saw and jumped over diamond and fidelity to go and look for import financing line with gtbank not because he love the bank

Weak emotions with shallow decision making leads to dangerous consequences. Boycotting or closure of their accounts could bear huge loss on their part as the bank may lay off SE staffs with other geo-political region people boycotting banks owned by a SE indigene.

For a critical thinker, he/she would know this is not issue of tribalism. Analysing the situation, it is not the job of EFCC to do Debt recovery. What then is the job of Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON)?

We have heard several comments from this story and I would say both party are guilty if thorough forensic/audit confirms it to be so.

You're confused.

AMCON is not a financial fraud investigative agency. It's simply receivership.

EFCC stands for Economic and FINANCIAL Crimes Commission. Keyword financial.

Everybody think say dem sabi book pass constituted authorities.

Igboes are the ones getting sentimental about a routine arrest of a crook.

GTB are fraudsters that want to outsmart an Igbo businessman......by deducting in excess of 700million..... Court ask them to pay but they prefer doing the ewedu eating style....

You lack basic Economics.
Compare the amount they made from the East to the amount they spend on Igbo workers.

Compare the worth of properties they have in the East to the salaries they pay to Igbo workers.

It is them that will still lose.

Hatred made you forget that it is not only Igbos that are staffs of GT Bank in the East.

There really isn't a wide-spread closing of account as alleged. Just a senseless campaign against GTB.

Very few igboes have accounts with GTB to begin with.

Igbos are bluffmasters who have become synonymous with empty chestbeating. Their only saving grace is that Yorubas are generally liberals who aren't as emotional and sentimental as they are. Else they won't be able to contain the repercussions in the event that the generality of Yorubas assume a Yoruba vs. Igbo posture over this issue, considering that they are a tribe of nomads. They are just a bunch of whiny jokers.
You are noise maker.

Someone that can barely feed himself will be sacking one supplier capable of feeding his entire extended family without breaking a sweat.

A tribalist like you will employ an Igbo supplier? Tell us another lie.
