Systems Support
Purpose of Job To administer and support Network Management Servers and Applications. Key Results Areas

• Analyze, resolve and report on Network Management Systems issues. Follow up CSR created until successfully resolved

• Coordinating Systems upgrade & Integration and dimensioning with Vendors

• Put systems/scripts in place that will alarm on problem areas in the GSM Network

• Ensure systems security as well as Systems Access Control

• Maintain GSM Network Management Systems application procedures and policies

• Database Administration of all GSM Network Management Systems

• Ensure successful Integration of new GSM nodes to OSS/OMC Systems

• Gathering Statistical Network Performance data for performance analysis function



1 Qualification • Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering or any related applied science field.

2 Experience • At least 3 years UNIX/Windows Systems Administration • Very Good skills in either Shell/Perl/C++ and SQL Scripting • Good administration skills in any of the following databases; Informix, Sybase and Oracle • Good understanding of GSM network

3 Attributes Must be loyal and highly committed to the objectives of Network Management and the Organization. Be willing to put in extra hours to achieve objectives

Able to investigate methodically and diagnose systems issues.

Must be confident, consistent and decisive in systems support issues and dealing with both internal and vendor staff , as well as people from other companies

Must be able to speak clearly, verbalize theoretical concepts easily and convey complicated situations in a logical manner.

Officer: CAPEX/OPEX
To provide administrative support to the Shipping Logistics team.

Key Results Areas

• Processing of Customs duty and other shipping charges for payment.

• Processing of Shipping Service Providers' Invoices for payment.

• Maintain proper records of all payments made on each Shipment.

• Reconcile Service Providers' Statements of Account with Celtel twice monthly.

• Generate monthly report summarizing activities carried out in the prescribed format.

• Provide adequate support for other shipping functions.



1 Qualification • A good first degree in any numerate discipline (Accounting, Finance, Mathematics) • Membership of a recognized Accounting or Logistics Professional Institutes would be an advantage

2 Experience • Two years' post NYSC experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office suite. • Adequate knowledge of Book-keeping principles.

Network Controller
Job Description:
Purpose of Job To continuously monitor and ensure that the network is up and running on a 24hrs shift basis.



Key Results Areas

1 To respond to any alarm or failure that is presented by the network elements or complaints via customer care.

2 To monitor plan work done by Celtel or other contractors

3 To do preventive maintenance by running routine tests

4 To keep records of all activity on the network by means of the FMS

5 To escalate faults outstanding for predetermined times according to procedure 6 To monitor and respond to access into Celtel sites



1 Qualification BS/HND in Engineering /IT.

2 Experience Not specifically required but desirable

3 Attributes Must be confident, consistent and decisive in fault management issues and dealing with staff and people from other departments and companies.

Manager: Quality Assurance (Internal Audit)
Purpose of the Job

1. Establish a formal quality/infosec Management Review System based on ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 17799 standards for quality management and information security - clearly defining processes and procedures for maintaining high standards of quality and infosec enterprise-wide.

2. Review and assess for compliance formal cross-functional project management methodology; providing project assurance and management reporting services as required.



1. Qualification University Degree in Business Administration or any of the Social or Numerate sciences. Completion of ISO certified Quality Assurance Auditor training course. Excellent and proven computer skills with emphasis on the following User Applications: MS Office Packages - Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, MS Project and Web Applications.

2. Experience Minimum of 7 years (3 of which must be at management level) work experience within a Quality Management Department of a large (preferable service) organization or Audit firm. Experience in the implementation of a documented Quality, Safety & Health and Information Security Management Systems, using appropriate international standards - ISO 9001:2000, ISO 17799 and ISO 14000 standards. Ability to facilitate and manage information-gathering sessions to meet set session objectives. Experience in the use of TM, PDCA and DMAIC framework and related tools for the improvement of practical business scenarios.

Purpose of Job

1 Ensure delivery of assigned Projects within the Time, Budget and Quality constraints in conjunction with the Product Specialists.

2 Ensure assigned projects conform to the Product Development Process standards

3 Timely and accurate progress reporting of assigned Projects to all key stakeholders

4 Ensure that all products and services are adequately documented with complete business cases and financial projections

5 Provide effective leadership and keep team motivated for successful delivery of projects.

6 Ensure that assigned projects adhere to Change Management policies and procedures

7 Ensure that all products developed have product performance and launch KPIs

8 Relationship Management of Project interfaces with both internal and external suppliers in order to assure buy-in and successful delivery of assigned projects



Qualification A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Sciences, Information Technology, Business Information Management or related Science discipline. Proficiency and Certification in a structured project/programme management methodology such as Prince2, PMBoK is an added advantage An MBA will be an added advantage
