This year 2017 top searches on Google in Nigeria cut across different categories from
Olamide – Wo and Davido – Fia topping the Music Chart while terms like ASUU Strike , Monkeypox outbreak were among the most searched stories and event categories in Nigeria for the year.
In other categories, "Is Buhari dead?" recorded a massive volume of search queries in Nigeria. This is of course expected because of the ill health of the Nigerian president which resulted to his absence in the country for some months.
