The National Universities Commission, NUC has ranked Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as the best University in Nigeria.
According to the NationalUniversities Commission's latest ranking of Universities in Nigeria, The Ahmadu Bello University emerged as the best among all 111 universities on the list beating the likes of The University of Lagos (UNILAG), Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Illorin and the rest.
The top five positions were occupied by Federal Universities while Covenant University, Ota occupies the sixth position, which means they retained their position as the best private University in the Country.

Same glorify structure keep churning out first class year in year out, with no visible impact in the economy by their graduates. SMD!

I don't get this concept of NUC university ranking that is being overhyped.

Is it that graduates of the best wouldn't pass through pre-recruitment tests in recruitment process?

I know a graduate of a very lowly ranked university who is not just a University Reader, but also a consultant, and multinationals are among his clients.
