Will Fuel Sells For #200/litre Officially In The Coming Days?

NNPC and and its subsidiary has come out that the landing cost of fuel is now around #171 -185 per litre. The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo confirmed this that NNPC has been bearing the additional costs for fuel to sell at #145. If the subsidy is removed, will Nigeria now pay around #200 per litre for fuel officially?

Impossible is nothing. If you're still in Nigeria anything can happen
So we are expecting anything at anytime mind you I bought 10litres of fuel at #4000. So what's the big deal if the litre sell for #200

The cluelessness herdsman in Aso rock should resign with immediate alacrity!

The minister of petroleum whoever he is should also resign with immediate effect.

fuel was 87 I think
they removed subsidy and brought the price to 145 ...
now you are saying they will remove subsidy again and sell at 200 naira just like that

when the last administration came Up with such stories we shut down the whole country
why are you people so easily cowed by the current administration...
to deceive Nigerians is just so easy for them..

they have liars strategically positioned at every corner to strike the masses

Yes

Because we have no choice.

If we want yo reduce fuel prices, we have to pay higher for the subsidy in place.

If we deregulate, yes prices will shoot up, APC will lose in 2019 for being wicked, but market forces, investment etc will bring prices down.

We should have done this since 2012, even since 1993 when the idea was first mooted.

Or we look for trillions of naira so that we can pay 87 for fuel.

Buhari and his allies have brought nothing but untold hardship and suffering on the masses.

A quiet resignation won't be enough but he should tender a sober apology to all who voted him and the citizens at large.

Everything about this government is scam. Same government (Buhari) that said he doesn't know what subsidy is and also said it's a scam, is also the one paying subsidy on petroleum products again.

I'm sure if they increase the price come next year, nothing will happen as people will be afraid to stand up against them since they have bought NLC, TUC and other labour unions that should stand up against them.

If price goes up to 200, in coming days, nothing surprising, as far the price of crude which happen to be main raw material has went up, expectedly the price of the finish goods will definitely increase.

My issue with our leader is that when the price of crude was low, we were not allow to enjoy it, as price was expected to fall, thou AGO follow the real market trend as it was sold below 160 at a certain period, before now rising above 200.

FG should remove price cap, and allow market to determine price.

i need someone to explain to me when Buhari increased the price of pms, we did not complain because they gave us the cock and bull story that bla bla bla, the increment would later see that orices come down later. they likened the scenario to the telecoms sector where you have different competition and thereby brining orices down... i was watching. now they are sying that the subsidy they removed another subsidy has to be removed untop... i think this would be the final straw that would break the camel's back. nigeria would finally shutdown.

Back when fuel was 87, people were buying it outside abuja and Lagos for 120-200.

The reason was that marketers don't make much profit when prices are fixed, which is why they divert fuel, and do subsidy scams....to make money, or go bankrupt

The 145 price was just legalizing what was already happening
