Got this on my Facebook wall and can't help laughing at the extent people can go to manipulate figures against Jonathan and bandy half truths and flimsy excuses for Buhari's failure. Enjoy these half truths not forgeting that Obasanjo turned around an already Nigerian economy in comatose under the rudderless regimes of past military leaders Obasanjo inherited. Enjoy the write up but don't believe them.

BUHARI AGAIN?

Okonjo Iweala, a woman that had seen it all could come out to say at an American conference that the SEED OF THIS RECESSION WAS PLANTED DURING THE JONATHAN REGIME DUE TO OUR LACK OF FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE, INABILITY AND LACK OF POLITICAL WILL TO SAVE. People should not blame jonathan alone for this because the profligate Nigerian Governors too are culpable. He attempted to save, but the governors demanded to take all the savings citing constitutional right. Money they took and Stole at the same time. Our case is pathetic.

Do you know that:

Obasanjo's administration earned # 17trn from crude oil sales within eight years and left behind 45bn dollars external reserves and 3.348bn dollars external debt.

Yaradua grew the reserves to 64bn dollars within just one year and the administration was able to finance 15 months of imports despite the 2008/2009 world economic meltdown. Hence, Nigeria survived the melt down because of the political will by the administration to save(a great achievement by Yaradua which most Nigerians are not aware of). Despite the tough economic reality at that time, Yaradua left 47.7bn dollars in reserves and an external debt of 3.94bn dollars. Meanwhile, the administration earned only # 9trn from crude oil sales within that short period.

Now, Jonathan administration witnessed an oil boom when Brent crude sold for over 100 dollars/barrel, with the regime earning # 51trn within a period of 5years. But because of corruption, the administration did not only squander the oil revenue but even depleted the reserves left by Yaradua, leaving just 32bn dollars and a huge external debt of 63bn dollars for Buhari. The same Brent crude sold for as low as 35 dollars/barrel at a point shortly after Buhari took over power and had only managed to climb to about 48 dollars just recently.

These are facts that can be verified. So, it's amazing hearing people criticize Buhari for the hunger in the land.

According to Fashola, Buhari's administration inherited 206 uncompleted road projects and contract arrears worth #2.1trn from Jonathan; and for about 2 to 3 years the contractors where not paid. This slowed down the economic activities, with most of the companies laying off their staff. This was when the seed of recession was sowed.

It's obvious that Buhari came in to rescue Nigeria, because if Jonathan had continued in power, the nation's economic crisis would have been worse, perhaps even the Federal government wouldn't have been able to pay salaries of civil servants by now.

According to Okonjo Iweala, Nigeria started borrowing money to pay salaries since October, 2014; but today Nigeria now borrow money for investment in capital projects.

Those who blame Buhari for the current hardship do so either out of mischief (hatred) or ignorance. So, we shouldn't join the bandwagon in criticising him. He may not have done much to save the situation, considering that he is not a perfect human being but he means well for the country and can only succeed with our prayers.

May Almighty God continue to guide Baba Buhari.

Why not share this piece with others for the sake of enlightenment and conscious prayers for our nation. We av the responsibility to enlighten others.

Mischievous and the ignorant people/politicians should not drag us backward.

How is "N16,000" a bag of rice, from "N9,000", heroic of this regime?

How is "N145" a litre of petrol, from "N97", heroic of this regime?

How does keeping silent over the killings of farmers, christians, by Fulani herdsmen heroic of this regime?

The truth is, Jonathan's government was constructively corrupt. Buhari's government is destructively, callously, and insensitively corrupt.

I will describe Jonathan's regime as bad. But Buhari's regime is EVIL!

In the absence of good(younger credible candidates with drive and vision), Nigerians would prefer bad to evil.

OP, I like the heading of this topic. Most of those "things" wouldn't open it if it was captioned as a pro-buhari thread. All they are interested in are anti-buhari topics because that is where sense is not required.

They will open this thread hoping to see how Buhari is crucified only to end up seeing the whole truth, then silently crawl out.

Or at least type according to their names like this FTC, otherwise, tell me how what he typed shows he read and understand the write-up.

Someone to also see the one below me, he quoted a statement, then typed something to prove he doesn't even understand what he quoted. Nawao. angry

If "Buhari is incompetent" is your comment, do you have to quote a statement that logically says otherwise? grin

Rubbishh why didn't Nigeria go into recession after Abacha looted us to death??

Buhari can't give what he doesn't have. Unless you're saying that this is Buhari own turn to loot. Where is maina Gate, babachir lawal gate, NNPC $25billion scam all swept under the carpet.

Buhari is an Islamic terrorist who have come to strangle Southerners and Christains in middle belt.

If Buhari didn't win in 2015, we would have thought by now that Nigeria would have been like London.

Thank God he won for everyone to know that he can't perform magic.

Buhari said he does not know anything called subsidy. You clapped.
He later paid subsidy. You clapped again.

He said he would never devalue the Naira. You clapped.
He devalued the Naira. You clapped.

He said he will make N1 equals to $1. You clapped.
$1 is officially equal N360. You are still clapping.

He said he will make petrol price to sell at N40, you clapped,
Now petrol price is N145 -N400, you clapped and protested in support.

He said he would turn all presidential jets to national carrier. You clapped.
Today, he and his family are cruising on all presidential jets. You are clapping.

He said he would build one new refinery each year. You clapped.
Its getting to three years, no refinery has been built. You are still clapping.

When he cancelled Military road blocks, you clapped.
When he asked them to go back, you clapped.

When PMB promise to end medical tourism, you clapped.
When he spent months in UK hospital and allowed local doctors to go on strike, you clapped.

Now his son is involved in Okada accident and he plans to fly him abroad for treatment, you are clapping.

Who cursed BMC?

We know abacha was worse than Jonathan even if there was no corruption within Get administration. Buhari must find a way to defend his incompetence. He has precedence for that like in 1983-85 after all accusations it was discovered he made out all that to suffer the poor masses.
He will fail Ngeneukwune come 2019. Even tinubu will not support him.
There is range coming n it will breakthrough by March 2018

For real, it seems there is some contaminated air circulating in this country that is making zombies out of Nigerians. Else tell me how folks are still supporting the ineffectual man from Daura?

Madness is not only when one roams the street naked, madness is also when one loses all sense of reasoning and allows another to make an animal of him. Buhari has made Nigerians less than animals because even animals do protest when mistreated; something we can't easily find in the current Nigeria. I hope the sweeping hunger in the land resets our brains before 2019.

Why We Must Kick Buhari Out In 2019, Just As They Kicked Him Out In 1984.

Buhari rode to power on the 81 mouth watering campaign promises from his party APC, aided by massive propaganda against the last regime who is their twin brother.

Citizens had hope for a CHANGE but are now in painful CHAINS.

Now look:

Government cannot give you Power.....you buy generator

Government cannot give you water....you drill borehole

Government cannot give you Education .....you enroll in Private Schools

Government cannot give you Health ....you visit private clinic

Government cannot create job....you create job, they kill it with bad policies

Government cannot protect you....you.....should the citizens buy guns....?

Now, citizens are being slaughter like ram by Fulani herdsmen across Nigeria, Buhari who is the grand patron of Miyetti Allah feels less concerned.

These are the punishment Nigerians got for Voting for BUHARI

B - Blaming
U - Unemployment
H - Herdsmen Killings
A - Attacks
R - Recession
I - Incompetent

MUST DO

Get a PVC

Dust up you PVC

Be ready to canvass for VOTES

Be ready to Vote

Be ready to Protect your Vote.

When they tell you, your vote won't count, tell them it will count.

Let them know, never again shall our country be caught between two deep blue sea. We now have a #CredibleAlternative

#KickOutBuhari2019
