The nigerian national petroleum corporation, NNPC, and Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association, DAPPMA, an umbrella body for tank farm owners, have continued to trade blames over the continuous fuel scarcity.

Even Kachikwu that used to give free speeches in the press prior to the fuel scarcity, has suddenly become silent. When he was accusing Baru of awarding contracts without consulting him, he was releasing information regularly to the print and online media. He was more vocal than a parrot.

Now that there is fuel scarcity, he has suddenly gone into hiding. May thunder fire all those responsible for this hardship. Even those DAPPMA people are just making noise. Since last year, half of their members have been offering their empty depots for sale, to members of the public! Their bankers are on their necks. Now, to score higher in the cheap popularity scales, they are accusing NNPC of not giving them products, while NNPC too is reminding them of all the outstanding debts they owe.

Both of them are so unserious....

Where is the last bus stop of all buck passes?

Isn't it on the table of the substantive Honorable Minister who at the same time doubles up as our President..?

Where is he now when mostly needed by Nigerians?

The buck stops on the table of all those involved in this debacle. From Buhari, to Kachikwu, Baru, DAPPMA, MOMAN, NNPC, IPMAN, independent marketers, dealers etc., ....everybody! shocked

When things were good, some of these characters assumed a larger-than-life personality in the oil sector, demanding to be given some huge recognition, for their roles and importance in the industry. angry

Now that things have become challenging, instead of stepping up to the plate and providing concrete solutions, they have gone dumb. Those who are not dumb, are pointing fingers at others, instead of devising solutions and implementing it. I repeat: Thunder fire all those responsible for this hardship!
