Compliments of the reason. This question just pop my mind few days back and I've been trying to figure it out and I'm wondering if any statistician in the house could be of help. The question goes thus: How do we interpret the mean, standard deviation and variance of a distribution. For example let 59,63,42,74, and 36 be the scores of 5 students in a course. What does the mean,standard deviation, and variance tells us about the scores? |
