Losing your hair can feel like losing your crowning glory - but a selection of brave souls have chosen to embrace it rather than cover it up.

A collection of funny images from around the world, shared online, show men in different stages of hair loss who instead of hiding their baldness with hair implants or wigs, have used their head as a canvas for some very creative tattoos.

Their elaborate efforts include scary faces, animals and even zips while one chap decided to tattoo the Louis Vuitton brand logo all over his head.

Another gentleman seemed to show his affinity with famous bald men from history by having Russian communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin's face tattooed on the back of his head.
