We have once more demonstrated our unflinching commitment to the wellbeing and welfare of our esteemed workers as our Government will be committing N5.8 billion to payment of workers emoluments representing a total of 91% of total receipt from the third tranche of the Paris Club Refund of N6.3 billion .We thank our workers for their sacrifice, understanding and perseverance. I must say that our workers have been very supportive.
We must commend Mr Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for acceding to the workers’ requests in the face of the financial difficulties, with our new agreement we have lifted the embargo placed on promotions based on nominal condition, confirmation of appointments, advancement, transfer, inter-cadre conversions and yearly increment . Full Salaries will be paid to all Workers for the month of December. Mr Governor also approved the release of N1 billion to cover bond certificate of civil servants that retired on contributory pension scheme.
