Senator Abu Ibrahim swims in crises over alleged abuse of office and diversion of public funds + thugs disrupt recall process

Senator Abu Ibrahim is currently swimming in several crises emanating from his own constituency.

Sahara weekly check revealed that the three term senator representing Katsina South senatorial district under the platform of APC is battling with recall process and this is not unconnected to allegations of suspicious conspiracy, abuse of office and diversion of public funds.
Information and document available to us revealed that individuals and groups in his constituency petitioned the EFCC in November 27th, 2017 accusing him of duplicating projects and money for same purpose all over again in another calendar year.
According to our source, the senator allegedly connived with Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority ( SRRBDA) for six years between 2012-2017. According to the document at our disposal, the petition revealed that all projects embarked upon were abandoned after spending paltry sum of money.
Thus, they initiated a recall process which has started few days ago but we learnt that thugs allegedly linked to the senator disrupted the proceedings and some people seriously injured.
We sent a message to the Senator on Monday, January 1st, 2018 and the reply was that he doesn’t know what we are talking about claiming he was out of the country.
