Tears flowed freely Tuesday morning at Sango cemetery in Ibadan when family members, friends, colleagues and other sympathisers gathered to bury an Ibadan based radio presenter and broadcaster, Olufemi Oluwajobi who was hit by a yet to be identified driver Sunday night.

we had reported that Oluwajobi who was until his death a newscaster with the Ibadan based radio station owned by the popular gospel artiste, Yinka Ayefele, Fresh FM was hit by a yet to be identified driver in the night of Sunday, 31st December 2017.

Oluwajobi, fondly known as Radio MD (music dynamite), was said to be on his way to join some friends at Palms Mall, venue of Ibadan Countdown when he was hit by a drunk and reckless driver at Challenge area of Ibadan, a few minutes drive to his Fresh FM’s office.

He was said to have been rushed to the University Teaching Hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost.

Present at Oluwajobi’s burial held at Sango government Cemetery, Ibadan were founder of the radio station, Mr. Yinka Ayefele who betrayed emotion and some staff of the radio station and some media practitioners.

They described the deceased as a hardworking gentleman who took his job seriously.
