Reason and Importance of our Saviour's name ------- According to Acts 4:12, Apostle Peter made it clear that salvation can only be gotten through one name,also in John 1:12 for you to receive the saviour, you must believe in his name. Therefore it is very essential and necessary to prove and make sure that any name you are calling as the saviour's name is the original name. Their are no substitute to the saviour's name. The saviour's name is only one and not two or three.

Question ------------ I have been reading the bible for years and I only know of one name (Jesus). Is my bible fake?

Answer --------------- The question will be answered as you read on but note the bible you are reading is not fake but translated from the Hebrew and Greek version.

How do we find out the original name of the saviour ----------- The first part of the bible which most translators erroneously called the old testament prophesied about the saviour and all that the saviour will do for mankind. The saviour confirmed it in John 5:45-47, Luke24:25-27. If you read those bible passages, Moses and the Prophets wrote about our saviour, everything about him. Matt 11:13. Therefore we have no option than to go back to Moses.

Note: The scriptures was written in the Hebrew language because the people God used to bring his message of salvation were the Jews. Rom 3:2. Apostle Paul said the Jews were the ones entrusted with the living oracles of God. Also in Acts 26:14-15, Paul confirm himself that the saviour spoke to him and also revealed his name to Paul in Hebrew language.

We searched the Hebrew text of the Holy scriptures and not the English,Greek,Latin,Spanish version of the bible and discovered in Numbers 13:16 that Prophet Moses purposely changed the name of his personal assistant and successor from the Hebrew single name הוֹשֵׁ֥עַ to the Hebrew compound name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ‎
Whereas the Son of Nun was just the prophetic or symbolic successor of Prophet Moses,the only begotten Son of the true God is his real successor.
This Hebrew name must be genuinely transliterated and translated into any other language for the purpose of reproducing the correct sound,pronunciation and meaning of it. When transliterated, the Hebrew name becomes YEHOSHUA. Also when translated, It becomes YAH SAVES or YAH IS SALVATION.

Question ------- You may ask.... What is the meaning of YAH

Answer -------- The word YAH is the name of God( psalm 68:4) Most bible versions use the letter J instead of Y, but New King James version used the correct letter which is Y. Most Christians use the word Yah without knowing,whenever you say shout or sing Halleluyah, you are only saying praise God or praise the Lord. The God you are praising,His name is Yah.

Of all the names purported to be the name of the saviour, you can only trace Yehoshua to the writings of Moses and remember that the saviour confirmed that Moses wrote about him. Numbers 13:16.
Note ---- Most Bible versions transliterated the name given by Moses to his successor as Joshua. King James version transliterated it as Jehoshua but in the Hebrew language, their is no letter J,therefore the correct name is Yehoshua.

In conclusion some might argue that the name Jesus was gotten from the name Yehoshua,if the original is available and affordable then there is no need for substitutes and imitations.
