Residents of Ikere Ekiti trooped out in large numbers today to stage a peaceful protest to reject "criminally inclined and self acclaimed Olukere" , GANIYU OBASOYIN.

This is coming after some supporters of the Olukere, yesterday protested demanding his immediate release.

More protests this year please. Hopefully, the police get wiser and realise that citizens protesting is also in their best interests and stop with the teargas and stray bullets.

Ikere is a local place that they protest over little thing and quickly rush to block main road. Even when father and mother dey quarrel, their children will go and block the main road...... The king should rot in jail if he has hand in the death of the deceased.
