Ok let me break it down as simple as I can because I see that truly a lot of Nigerians hate to read and love to joke about everything.

There’s something called hypercholesteameia, a condition that simply means too much cholesterol in the blood. It’s know fact that many of our native food is full of fats and these fats are stored in your body for various functions such as synthesis of steroid hormones, and energy. But if the fats are much then your cholesterol level shoots up and you are in danger of arteriosclerosis, which can lead to MI (heart attack), angina, and ischemia (stroke).

The body has four main types of cholesterol carrier but the major ones are LDL (bad carrier) and HDL (good carrier). The LDL is the main cholesterol pool while the HDL is responsible for absorb the cholesterol. So if you keep eating food rich in fats, you increase the LDL blood which moves freely in your blood and trust me you don’t want to increase the LDL pool.

The body itself also synthesis cholesterol from scratch (de novo) so you will definitely have cholesterol wether you eat fat food or not but the synthesized cholesterol are not harmful.

What I am saying is simple, eat food less in fat, cook with oils less in fat and be very careful about increasing your blood cholesterol. Try and google hypercholesteamia and click “images”.

ofcourse! not exercising is the problem, most nigerians believe been fat is sexy and a sign of wealth and good living Anyway grin

not danger of cholesterol but LDLP that is bad cholesterol And oxidative rancidification of fat is carcinogenic in nature .

The dietitian didn't do his homework on current research on cholesterol well

Saturated oil is not a health hazard. Lots of scientists get confused with the risk factor of saturation in oil. If the oil is naturally saturated, like coconut oil, there is no risk. The problem comes if the oil is made saturated synthetically through the process of hydrogenation - a case of margarine. Concern should be given to the quality of the oil in terms of extent of rancidity, peroxide value, and free fatty acid value.

This oil has a lot of problem in every consumer who av bought it for cooking.
The causes of this oil damage our entire body by blocking the blood channels in our system, body and organ.it blocks the capillaries, veins and arteries that carries blood to our body. if the oil is being taken, it sticks to the wall of the arteries, capillaries and veins so it led to high blood pressure to hypertension to diabetes to stroke. And if increase it's lead to different kinds of deadly diseases.
The only solution is natural products. Taking more of antioxidant products.
such as c24/7, choleduz. All this is anti -cholestrol. The plaques in wall of arteries, capillaries and veins wil be clear.
No chemical substances can do that apart from antioxidants.
