Rap music has been an integral part of hip hop music in Nigeria but nor until nowadays. Even M.I Abaga had to rap about it. Rap music seems to be forgotten in this country, so sad.. and I'm a big fan. What do you think guys?

It's an imported culture. So if it's gone, we won't miss it

It's not. The thing is,it's hard to break in as A rapper as Nigerians prefer gibberish

A lot of Nigerians love rap including me. And yes we miss our Nigerian indigenous rap. So unfortunate our so-called rappers have metamorphosed into singers

I think it is
Our rappers have turned singers
Phyno
Olamide
Vector
CDQ - bye bye poverty
Ice Prince
and so on
only few rappers still trying to get a breakthrough in the industry are still sticking to the game
Dremo
Oladips
Seriki
That's why South Africa Are ahead of us wen it comes to Hip Hop/Rap
