the answer lies in this question:
is it advisable to marry a Nigerian used woman? whateva ur answer is to this question is the same for urs. it differs from person to person.

nb... make sure the car/woman hasn't been extensively used and abused!

The term Nigerian used has been widely accepted as abused and irresponsibly used.
We're being badmouthed and shamed cos of mistakes and crimes committed by people who are/were opportune to represent.
It's the same case when it comes to autos, most Nigerians are not after quality. For all they care, an automobile should serve its purpose whenever it's needed and nothing more. Just as a woman needs care and love aside bedroom and kitchen duties, so does a car need proper handling aside oil change and wheel balancing. We tend to forget things like transmission which also needs servicing and ignore warnings highlighted on the cluster as long as the car moves. This is why most manhandled cars lose market value after some months of use.
But I tell you there are good lads who know what's what and will go extra mile to make sure their cars are in good shape. Just make sure the car is properly inspected before purchase. Watch out for the wires connected to the cluster. Some dudes disconnect them so the warning lights never get illuminated so as not to raise an eyebrow.
