Hello PC gaming gurus. I'm a novice in PC stuffs as I've never had a PC before. But I'm planning to get Dell Latitude E6420 and I want to know if it can run HD games like FIFA 17, GTA V and the likes. Here are the specs:
Intel Corei7 @2.7ghz speed, 8gb ram,
320gb hdd. I think the graphic card is Intel HD Graphics 3000. Please help.

I think only the graphics card might gve u little prob.. but stil never the less u can stil play those games, bt if u notice it lags smehw. use this app(low specs experience) to optimize the game

It will on the lowest settings, I am having similar spec and I run GTA v, black ops, battlefield 4, watchdogs.........just do the needful settings and you will run it at a reasonable fps....but am not sure of fifa, the graphics card is pretty old.

I still don't think, try HD 5000......Intel generally sucks at gaming but I think HD 5000 is fair.

Don't buy a laptop with intel hd graphics. Try as much as possible to get one with a dedicated gpu.

The vram is only useful when you are playing games in higher resolutions with anti-aliasing on. If you are going to be gaming on 720p hd resolution, then 1gb of vram is very okay of you. Anything higher and you should consider a 2gb ram gpu. Before buying a laptop for its gpu make sure to always check it's specs and benchmarks on notebookcheck, technical city, laptopmedia, anandtech, userbenchmarks, gamedebate and a host of other sites to know what you are getting.
