Thank you OP. But in your own opinion, which would you recommend, I mean in the generality now. I'm not so freaky about smart features or additional display functions. I just want something that would handle lower resolutions well especially GOTV. what I mean is the images won't appear blurry and at the same time budget friendly. I read review of KONKA on jumia also, good ratings but wouldnt say until I set my eyes on it.

Wow..honestly it is indeed mind blowing! But the price is too high for my budget. Besides,the tv is needed in Maiduguri,I believe the delivery fee would make it even more higher.

Phillips is a great company that is 128 yrs old, and they specialize in, Electronics, TVs, and Audio system; Medical equipment.
Though, I wouldn't know how old the model you're considering is, but Phillips, is a world wide leader in professional healthcare products and solutions, and they pay more attention to their electronics health-wise, and that's an advantage. They're good products to own. Phillips TVs are TVs in their own class.

I guess the audio format of the movies are the AAC, OGG, or the AC3. AC3 means, Audio Coding 3. these are files that TV cannot read.
For instance, the AC3 is for surround sound audio that's used on DVDs. This format is found in the Dolby Digital audio on DVDs, the Blu-rays, and also other digital video formats.
If you play the same movie via a Blu-ray player that has room for flash stick, you'd see it will speak out loud. But your TV doesn't have that capacity.
But you can convert the movies audio codec on your computer to allow the sound on your TV.

That beast of a machine, is designed for gamers and addicted film lovers that have eyes for crisp pictures, colors, and the likes.

The XBR is an abbreviation for eXtended Bit Rate. And that's one of their flagship series. As touching lagging, more often than not, people over load their TVs and blame the manufacturer for it.

If you can afford that TV, it's gonna be your best buy.
