In a family law case, if the other party does not enter appearance or pleadings,the judge grants whatever the petitioner seeks in his/her claim based on the default in pleadings of the defence. So even if she had asked for 10 million per month there, it would have been granted. The only way to have gone about it is to appeal that decision cos it is deemed Atiku's son received sufficient notice( her petition and other necessary documents were served on him--the court ensures that) before the court came to a decision.
