A modern printing firm located at Yaba is recruiting to fill role of an IT Technical support Officer. The person will be:

1. Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment;
2. Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
3. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
4. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
5. Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
6. Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers;
7. Replacing parts as required;
8. Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
9. Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
10. Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
11. Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues;
12. Testing and evaluating new technology;
13. Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
14 Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).

The person must have:

1. B.Sc or HND in relevant courses with knowledge of: information technology, systems engineering;and Computer networking and hardware.
2. IT Certifications like Microsoft, Linux, Unix and Cisco.
3. A good knowledge of how software and operating systems work;
4. Strong customer focus;
5. Attention to details; Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
6.Problem solving skills;
7.The ability to work well in a team.
8. Be able to handle Mac issues
